The Private Mode in CoinStats allows you to hide your portfolio balance and other sensitive information. When enabled, it ensures your data remains private, especially useful when checking your app in public places or around others.

Here is how to do it:

Web

  • Navigate to the Portfolio Tracker tab

  • Click on Settings on the left-hand side of the screen

  • Enable the Private Mode toggle

Private Mode is now enabled. As shown below, your portfolio data is hidden and displayed as asterisks (*****), keeping your information private.

Mobile

  • Open the CoinStats app

  • Go to the Portfolio tab

  • Tap the three dots (•••) below the portfolio chart

  • Select Portfolio Settings

  • Toggle Hide Balance with Phone Flip to enable Private Mode

Now, flip your phone (face down), and your portfolio balance will be hidden automatically.

To view your portfolio balance again, just turn your phone face up. The hidden data will automatically reappear once the phone is flipped back.
