How to Connect Your Kraken Account to CoinStats

This article provides detailed steps to get your Kraken account API keys and add them to the CoinStats.

Follow the steps below to auto-connect your Kraken account to CoinStats.

  1. Login to your Kraken account and click on your Name.

  2. Click on the Security dropdown.

  3. Click on API.

4. In API Key management, click Add key.

5. Check Query Funds, Deposit Funds, Query Open Orders & Trades, and Query Closed Orders & Trades, Query Ledger Entries checkboxes, and click Generate Key button.

6. Copy the API key and Private key in order to paste those in the corresponding fields in CoinStats later.

Please note that in security settings two-factor authentication for API keys must be set to No method in order to be able to sync to CoinStats.

Now go to your CoinStats account.

Web

After following the steps mentioned above, open the CoinStats web, click Portfolio Tracker, then tap on Connect Portfolio.

Search for Kraken, and then the page on the screenshot should show up. Paste your API Key and API Secret, and you're good to go!

Mobile App

If you're using the mobile version, follow the mentioned steps:

  1. Go to the Portfolio tab.

  2. Tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

  3. Click on Add Portfolio.

  4. Choose the Connect Other option.

  5. Search for Kraken.

  6. Click on Enter API KEY manually.

  7. Paste your API Key and API Secret.

QR Code Method

If you choose to add Kraken to your portfolio in CoinStats using the QR code method,

click on the Show QR code button marked with a red rectangle in the screenshot above.

Scan the QR code presented by Kraken with CoinStats App on your mobile device, and that's it; you have successfully added Kraken to your CoinStats portfolio! 😊
