The Asset Allocations section in CoinStats helps you visualize your portfolio breakdown in three ways:

  1. Asset Allocation Stacked Bar

  2. Coin Allocation Pie Chart

  3. Asset Allocation by Category Pie Chart

Each view shows a different dimension of how your assets are split up, so you can better understand and rebalance your portfolio. Below is an overview of each chart and how to interpret it.

Asset Allocation Stacked Bar

Web Assets Allocation

What it shows:

A horizontal “stacked bar” that represents the total value of your portfolio, divided into broad asset classes:

Asset Allocation Mobile
  • Tokens: Displays your holdings in cryptocurrency tokens (e.g., BTC, ETH, SOL).

  • Stable Coins: Shows holdings in price-stable digital assets (e.g., USDC, USDT).

  • NFTs: Reflects any NFT assets you hold.

  • DeFi: Indicates funds locked or allocated in DeFi protocols (if tracked).

  • Fiat: Represents any cash or fiat balances (if you’ve added them).

Coin Allocation Pie Chart

What it shows:

  • A pie chart listing each individual coin or token in your portfolio and its corresponding percentage weight.

  • Each slice represents the percentage share of that coin in your overall portfolio.

Web Coin Allocation

How to use it

  • Hover/Tap each slice to see the exact asset name and allocation percentage.

  • Compare the relative sizes to see which coin has the highest weighting and how the rest of your holdings rank in comparison.

Why it’s helpful

  • Identifies the dominant coins in your portfolio and highlights smaller holdings.

  • Allows you to spot potential single-coin concentration risks quickly.

  • Helps you track progress in achieving a diversified portfolio if that is your investment goal.

Asset Allocation by Category Pie Chart

What it shows:

  • A breakdown of your portfolio by larger ecosystems or investment themes.

  • Each slice indicates the share of your portfolio in a specific category.

Asset Allocation by Category Web

How to use it

  • Categories often reflect broader strategies or ecosystem holdings, such as an index fund or a specific blockchain ecosystem.

  • If you hold tokens tied to a particular category (like DeFi tokens on the Ethereum network), they’ll appear together here.

Asset Allocation by Category Mobile

Why it’s helpful

  • Shows which blockchain ecosystems or thematic investments you’re most exposed to.

  • Can guide you in balancing your portfolio across different blockchains, categories, or funds.
